TWO more boxers from the Tadley and District Boxing Club were in action at an event at Coopers Boys ABC in Totton, Southampton.
First to fight was 11-year-old Andrew Davis in a skills bout – a contest where there is no winner – against Harvey Marsh of Portsmouth. In an entertaining bout, both boys showed good boxing skills with Davis shining through with some great right hands.
After that, Vinnie Mills, 14, boxed Darren Piper, from Poole ABC, in a 56kg bout. Mills boxed very well from the outset, scoring with long range shots, using his reach to his best advantage, on his way to winning a unanimous decision to take his record to an impressive seven wins out of 11 contests.
Tadley Boxing Club is based at Ash Business Park in Bramley and train on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6pm. For more details, contact Paul James on 07747 778945.
