TADLEY RFC moved away from the foot of the Southern Counties North table with a hard-earned 31-22 win away at bottom side Slough.
Slough led 10-0 after 30 minutes, but the visitors hit back before the break, scrum-half Thomas Bailey diving over to make it 10-7.
Tadley took the lead when full-back Mark Davies scored to make it 12-10 and an excellent team move resulted in a try for centre Paul Denning, while Brad Ineson was next to score, dotting down under the posts.
Slough pulled a try back to make it 24-15 but Tadley made sure of the win as another great move resulted in a second try for Ineson.
Slough scored a third try, but they were unable to make further inroads into the Tadley lead.
The Red Lane side face a tough test this weekend, hosting third-placed Milton Keynes.
