HOT-SHOT Hallam Wilson scored a double hat-trick as the under-16 Bison maintained their 100 per cent start to the season with win number nine – a 14-0 success over visiting Oxford last Sunday.
Wilson netted the first two goals and Josh Richards scored the next from George Gill.
Steven Ratcliff, with his first of three assists in the game, set-up spirit-of-the-game winner Jordan Gillard to make it 4-0.
Man-of-the-match defenceman Jack Standing added the fifth, before Paul Petts scored shorthanded to warp up the first period scoring.
The second session saw Wilson complete his hat-trick from Petts and Malik Adeniran-Adams. Max Florey, assisted by Kyle Tyrrell, scored the next goal and Richards made it 9-0 at the buzzer.
The final session opened with Wilson scoring shorthanded and powerplay goals, before Jack Reddin scored from Petts and Adeniran-Adams.
Matt Levy scored goal number 13 and it was left to Wilson to finish the scoring, assisted by Richards and Joel Venning. Jordan Lawday and Jacob Stoodley shared the young Herd’s shut-out.
