CHINEHAM Albion Reserves avenged an opening day Basingstoke and District League Division Two reverse as they inflicted a second defeat of the season on Tron Reserves.

Home side Tron started the better, taking the lead in the sixth minute, as a chip from Aaron Barber found Darren White. He pulled the ball down well and his shot looped over goalkeeper Chris Hobson.

Barber scored the second on 27 minutes with a cool finish after White played him through. Soon after, a corner was and which fell to Alex Brown, whose centre was headed home by Allan Morgan.

Albion had a couple of first teamers assisting and they combined to see Albion level on the 65 minutes. Nick Saunders made a good run and his cross was put away by George Langden.

Langden scored the winner on 74 minutes after sub Carlos Narcisse put him through.

Tron had three chances in the final five minutes to equalise, but Darren White hit the bar, Marvyn White forced a good save from Hobson and former Albion player Lee Neal shot wide.
