BASINGSTOKE RFC director of rugby James Croker praised his side after their excellent 52-5 win away at Hove on Saturday.
The visitors ran in eight tries, with David Byett and Gareth Kelly touching down twice, while Jack Parsons, Ollie John, Jamie Fish and Freddie Gleadowe also got their names on the scoresheet.
Croker said: “We played the game with high intensity and tempo which can lead to mistakes but that does not take away from a good performance.
“To beat Hove on their own patch is always difficult but we got our bonus point win in style.”
He added: “We did take our foot off the gas after our opening 15 minutes but we soon recovered from that. Once more I thought our fitness was good which allowed us to keep creating chances.”
