Athletes called up to represent GB

BASINGSTOKE and Mid Hants athletes Ben Hazell and Emma Buckett will spend this weekend in Valencia, Spain, after being selected to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland at an international meeting.
Hazell will join Michael Holden, Martin Brockman and John Lane in the senior men’s team, while Buckett is named in the under-23 women’s team alongside Katy Marchant and Jazmin Dotzek.
Hazell and his team-mates will come up against sides from Spain, Czech Republic, France and the Netherlands, while Buckett’s team will face Spain and France.
