Local rugby teams raring to go after enforced break

SNOW and freezing conditions decimated the rugby programme last weekend – and north Hampshire’s clubs will be hoping to return to action next week.
Tadley, Overton, Chineham, Aldermaston and Kingsclere all had their matches postponed on Saturday.
As a result, Tadley remain second-bottom in the Southern Counties North table ahead of a scheduled trip to fifth-placed Olney this weekend.
In Hampshire Two, high-flying Overton are without a game, while mid-table Chineham face a tough test as they are due to host table-topping Solent University at Castle Field.
Kingsclere also play the table-toppers in their league, travelling to Farnham Royal in the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Championship, while struggling Aldermaston face a trip to mid-table Crowthorne.
