Basingstoke Bison stung by Bracknell Bees

THE BASINGSTOKE Bison sliped to second in the English Premier League after a 5-1 loss at Bracknell on Sunday night.

The Herd dominated most of the first period, but went in a goal down after Lukas Smital struck.

The home side side added a second from Martin Masa, before Joe Rand netted for the Bison to make it 2-1 at the second break.

The third period belonged to the Bees as Scott Spearing, Shaun Thompson and Pavel Strycek all scored.

The Bison now have to pick themselves up ahead of Wednesday's EPL Cup semi-final in Slough.
