Basingstoke Bison beat Manchester Phoenix to return back to summit

THE BASINGSTOKE Bison returned to the top of the English Premier League after a 3-1 victory over visiting Manchester Phoenix on Saturday night.
The visitors struck first from Luke Boothroyd with the only goal of the opening period.
Doug Sheppard and Joe Greener then scored to give the Bison a 2-1 lead at the second break.
Man-of-the-match Joe Miller then scored the goal of the game to make sure of the victory.
