BASINGSTOKE Town's Blue Square Bet South game against Staines Town, which was due to kick-off at 3pm this afternoon, has been postponed.
A pitch inspection took place at 10.30am and with areas of the playing surface under standing water, the decision was taken to call the game off.
Town yesterday announced the signing of former Maidenhead and Havant striker Manny Williams, but he will have to wait until Boxing Day at Farnborough to make his debut.
