BASINGSTOKE Ice Skating Club once again turned on the style at their annual ice show Keep Calm Santas’ Coming.

Around 200 skaters wowed packed houses at the Basingstoke Arena in a total of four shows last Saturday and Sunday.

Skaters of all ages took part with an age range from as young as five to 70, and all of them played their part in a great weekend.

There were big show numbers, when the ice was filled to overflowing, as well as some great solo displays from some of the top skaters in Basingstoke.

Peter Baekgaard, leading coach of a team of coaches who put the show together, said: “The show proved to be a real success and we have received a lot of positives about it.

“For me the show is about giving all the skaters at the club a chance to perform, have some fun and show what they can do whatever their ability.”
