THE Basingstoke Bison bounced straight back to winning ways with a 5-3 victory over the Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday night.
Last weekend the Herd lost in Peterborough, but a seven days later they gained sweet revenge.
Having fallen behind to a goal from Maris Ziedins, they levelled thanks to a powerplay strike from Jaroslav Cesky
The home side took then took control as Joe Rand and Doug Sheppard both netted, before Ziedins' second made it 3-2.
Goals from Joe Greener on his return from injury and man-of-the-match Sheppard's second either side of the second period break made the game safe.
Peterbrough did pull a goal back from an offside striker from Ondrej Lauko, but that was a close as they got.
