THE Basingstoke Bison made it three wins out of three over their title rivals the Manchester Phoenix thanks to a 4-3 win on Sunday night.
Greg Owen scored twice in the first period and then Jaroslav Cesky made it 3-0, before Manchester's man-of-the-match Joachim Flaten pulled a goal back.
Michal Psurny narrowed the lead to one, but within a minute Bison's man-of-the-match Joe Rand had added a fourth.
Manchester made sure of grandstand finish as James Archer scored, but that was as close as they got.
