BASINGSTOKE RFC maintained their promotion push in London One South with a 16-10 victory at Sidcup which sliced the gap to second placed
Chichester to four points after they lost to leaders East Grinstead 45-10 on
Saturday.
Gavin Dampies scored both Basingstoke tries, while Jack Parsons and Ash Paterson kicked over penalties.
