THE Basingstoke Bison remained top of the English Premier League as they beat visiting reigning champions Guildford Flames 3-1 on Saturday night.
The visitors opened the scoring from Ben Campbell, but the Herd always looked the better team and thanks to goals from Doug Sheppard, Greg Chambers and Jaroslav Cesky they ran out winners.
