ST PETER’S, in South Ham, Basingstoke, is holding its harvest festival service on Sunday, at 10am.
The charity which they are supporting is Water Aid. Everyone is welcome.
THERE is a table-top sale at Trinity Methodist Church, in Sarum Hill, Basingstoke, on Saturday, from 10am to 1pm, in aid of church funds.
OAKRIDGE Methodist Church raised more than £200 at their summer fete.
Old Basing Methodist Church raised £344 at their garden party – an excellent effort. Thanks to all those who helped or attended.
JUST a reminder about the Harvest Festival at St Mary’s, Old Basing, on Saturday, October 4, where there will be a non-eucharistic All Age service at 5pm, with the uniformed organisations in attendance.
There will also be a cash collection for May Place.
On Sunday, at 9.30am, there will be a sung Eucharist with the theme of “Care for Creation”.
The proceeds of the collection will be divided between May Place and the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed in Bangladesh.
On Sundays, October 12 and 19, the 9.30am service will have a commented sung eucharist that will explore various parts of the eucharist.
TADLEY and Pamber Heath bring-and-share harvest supper will be held on Saturday, in St Paul’s church hall at 6pm for 6.30pm.
Bring your own food to share, tea, coffee and squash provided.
