DARENT Valley NHS Trust is meeting Government targets on breast cancer clinics.
The Trust, which runs two clinics every week on Thursday mornings and afternoons, has met the 95 per cent target on seeing patients within two weeks of their GP's referral.
Commenting on the clinic's breast team which is made up of specialists including surgeons, pathologists and radiologists, a trust spokesman said: “We offer a full service to breast patients including surgery, chemotherapy and re-constructive surgery.”
A help group for women recovering from breast cancer, The Dartford, Swanley and Gravesham After Breast Cancer Support Group is run by the Macmillan Breast Care Nurses.
