Trains delayed and cancelled between Basingstoke and Reading due to 'cows on the line'
TRAIN services between Basingstoke and Reading are running as normal again after delays and cancellations due to animals on the railway line this morning.
Great Western Railway and CrossCountry services were at risk of being be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised this morning but normal service has resumed.
The Gazette understands passengers were being advised that the disruption is being caused by cows on the line.
