EXTRA carriages will be added to trains running between Overton and Waterloo to combat overcrowding.
Tim Shoveller, managing director of South West Trains, has informed Overton Parish Council that the extra carriages will be provided on some commuter trains, hopefully in May when the timetable changes.
The 6.17am and the 6.41am from Overton to Waterloo will have nine rather than six carriages and the 4.20pm, 5.20pm and 5.50pm from Waterloo will also have extra carriages.
