RAIL users faced delays this morning on trains around Basingstoke following two separate incidents.
A freight train broke down at Mortimer, meaning services between Basingstoke and Reading have been replaced by buses.
At around 8am, a vehicle struck the bridge at Vyne Road, South View, and all South West Trains services were halted for 30 minutes while engineers checked the scene.
The rail operator said its trains are now moving but services will be disrupted until 10am.
