YOU may be aware that the General Election is creeping up on us again. Over the next few weeks all the politicians will be out trying to get the great British public to vote for them!
The polls say that there is very little trust in politicians these days. After various scandals people are sceptical of anything they say!
In Jesus’ day there was a group of people called the Pharisees who were the leaders in Israel. Jesus was not very happy with them as they taught the Jews how to live, but did not do it themselves.
Jesus hated this hypocrisy, and I think he still does today. The good news is Jesus was different, his actions matched his words. Like a stick of rock you get at the beach ‘integrity’ ran all the way through him.
You may not be able to fully trust your politician, but I have found that you can fully trust Jesus. He will always get my vote!
