EVERY year I always end up staying up to some unearthly hour to watch the Oscars.
As a film buff, I am always fascinated as to who will win the famous statuettes and I always wonder what it must feel like to stand on that stage, receiving the award, with millions of TV viewers worldwide watching you, the winner. You must feel like a million dollars.
Sadly, so many of us rarely get to feel like winners. Life can feel like a long slog, with little tangible reward.
Moreover too many of us have often been told that we are losers and simply not good enough.
The great news is, though, that in God’s eyes, we are winners. We matter. God made each and every one of us and He loves us for who we are.
He loves us so much that He sent His son, Jesus, to die for us and rise again to show us that nothing can separate us from God’s love.
In God’s eyes, we matter, we are winners!
