MEON Valley MP George Hollingbery has launched his annual Christmas card competition.

Eight schools in the constituency have signed up so far with the prize a trip to London to meet Mr Hollingbery in Parliament.

The winner will also be in with a chance of having their design sent to Prime Minister David Cameron.

Mr Hollingbery said: “I'm delighted that the competition has proven so popular again, but there's still time for talented artists from our schools in the Meon Valley to get involved. We are astounded every year at the quality of the entries. We look forward to our postbags bulging with designs.”

There are three categories– Reception to Year 6, Year 7 to Year 11 and Special Schools – and entries must be sent to George Hollingbery MP, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA, by October 26.
