Organic Farm celebrates 25th birthday
A Sutton Scotney farm is hosting a free family day later this month.
Riverford Organic Farms is celebrating its 25th birthday at Upper Norton Farm, Sutton Scotney, on Saturday, October 27, with its annual pumpkin day.
Activities include tractor rides, apple pressing, cookery demonstrations and pumpkin carving just in time for Hallowe'en.
Guy Watson, founder of Riverford said, “This year's Pumpkin Day is going to be bigger and better than ever. We're celebrating 25 years of championing organic vegetables with all sorts of fun and games. Come along and bring your friends and family - the more the merrier.” There will also be plenty of fresh food and drink on offer and a sneak preview taste of Riverford's Christmas range.
The fun starts at 11am and entry is free while there is also a special birthday raffle.
