Woman's death in Nether Wallop 'unexplained'
THE sister of a woman who died in Nether Wallop says she feels 'let down' by the investigation into her death.
Mother of two, Ntando Moyo, 35, died on March 3 at Church Hill, where she worked as a live-in carer. A coroner's inquest was unable to ascertain the cause of death despite extensive reports from doctors, forensic scientists and police officers.
Ms Moyo was discovered unconscious in the shower by her employer, who was carrying out a routine site check. Paramedics attended but she died at the scene.
After the hearing at Winchester on Wednesday, Ms Moyo's sister, Dr Khanyisela Moyo, said: “I feel let down by the police investigation. I lost my only sibling and I was hoping to get answers. I just think the investigation should have covered more.”
Recording an open verdict, deputy coroner Simon Burge said that pathologists had not ruled out sudden unexpected death syndrome, but neither could it be confirmed as the cause of death. Dr Moyo said: “I am still at the stage I was when I buried her.”
