THE inquest was due to open tomorrow (Wed) into the death of a man found at a Winchester house.

Several police officers, including CID, and ambulances were called to Chalk Ridge, Highcliffe.

In a statement, police said today: “At 5.15pm on Friday, August 31 police received a report after the body of a man was discovered at an address in Chalk Ridge.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been sent to the coroner.”

No further details were available.

The inquest was due to open in Winchester by assistant deputy central Hampshire coroner Sarah Whitby.
