1 FANS of music icon Bob Dylan can hear classics such as Blowin’ In The Wind, The Times They Are A-Changin’, Mr Tambourine Man, Like A Rolling Stone and All Along The Watchtower when tribute comes to Totton’s Hanger Farm Arts Centre.

The Bob Dylan Story will see 25 of the his most-loved hits that provided a soundtrack for a generation take you back to the Nobel prize winner’s glory days.

The show takes place between 8pm and 10pm on Friday, April 6.

2 PREPARE to be amazed by the secrets of sound at the Winchester Science Centre.

Live science shows and demonstrations will continue this weekend, and are included in the general admission tickets.

There will also be a host of shows in the planetarium throughout the day. The science centre will open between 10am and 5pm.

Throughout the Easter holidays there will also be a science-themed holiday club for children aged between five and nine. There will be a daily programme of science-themed activities utilising the centre, its surrounding green spaces and workshop rooms.

3 MARWELL’S ‘Giant Easter Egg Trail’ will be continuing throughout the Easter holidays.

Youngsters will have the chance to win four tickets to the Sunset Safari this summer if they complete the trail and find the giant egg.

They will also be able to visit the Easter bunny in his burrow at Marwell Zoo and collect a chocolate egg.

There’s also an opportunity to step inside Marwell’s cracked egg shell to take a family #SHELFIE.

4 FOR the very first time, meet Bobtail Bunny and friends at Paultons Park.

The event will be held daily at Paultons throughout the Easter holidays, with guests able to meet cute new characters at the main entrance plaza.

Youngsters can come and say hello to Bobtail Bunny and his forest friends, Betty Bunny, Hennie the Hedgehog and Red the Deer –but watch out for mischievous Fenton Fox.

There will be a host of spring activities which include making daffodil windmills, pop-up bunnies, a rabbit magnet or an Easter card. A small donation will be required to take part in the workshop with all proceeds going to cancer charity Marie Curie.

5 THE Portsmouth Cocktail Festival will see tasty concoctions created by some of the area’s best mixologists.

The festival, launched in partnership with Southsea’s cocktail specialists Sant Yago, celebrates everything from the traditional to the more modern and quirky cocktails.

Cocktails are purchased via a token system, and 2 are included with each ticket.

Local bands will also be performing.

The festival will take place from 1.30pm to 5.30pm and 7pm to 11pm on Saturday at Portsmouth Guildhall.

6 PETROL heads will be coming together in Beaulieu this weekend for the motor museum’s third ‘Simply Aston Martin’ event.

Aston Martins of all ages will be on display with owners showing off their pride-and-joys on Sunday, April 8.

All models of the British supercar are welcome and visitors will have the choice to vote for their favourite in the People’s Choice Award – the winner will receive a Beaulieu trophy.

Tickets for Simply Aston Martin also include entry to the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey and World of Top Gear.

The event will take place between 10am and 5pm.

7 WINCHESTER Cathedral’s monthly Jane Austen tour returns on Saturday, April 7.

Lasting approximately an hour, organisers promise that the tour will provide intimate and amusing insights into the life of one of Britain’s most celebrated authors, investigating Austen’s life in Winchester and her connections with the cathedral, where she was buried in 1817.

The tour starts with a walk through the cathedral’s historic Inner Close to the house on College Street where Jane and Cassandra stayed during their time in Winchester, and finishes with tea, coffee and cake in the cathedral refectory. Tickets: £12.50.

8 LEARN how to craft chocolate like an expert with lots of tastings at a workshop in Alresford.

The workshops are suitable for anyone, with Chocolate Craft’s experienced staff guiding you through the session. Participants must be aged 16 years and over.

Following a welcome briefing and refreshments, you’ll be given a brief overview of the session followed by a demonstration on chocolate making by a professional chocolatier. You will then make their own unique ganache using a wide range of natural ingredients and will pipe this into their chocolate moulds.

Whilst chocolate moulds are chilling you’ll be taught how to professionally decorate chocolates using fine piping techniques. After a brief practice session, you’ll put your new found skills to the test in a lolly decorating competition, with a special prize up for grabs.

Sessions cost £59 per person or £99 for 2 people, with the session taking place between 10am and 12.30pm on Saturday, April 7 at Chocolate Craft Ltd, Unit 1, Upton Park Farm.

9 IMMERSION Theatre will be coming to the Theatre Royal in Winchester with their wildest show yet – a new musical adaptation of The Jungle Book.

Audiences can join Mowgli, Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther on their madcap jungle adventure as they meet and attempt to outwit tiger, Shere Khan.

The show will be filled audience interaction and the chance to meet the characters after the show.

The Jungle Book runs daily at the Theatre Royal, in Jewry Street, at 4.30pm from Saturday until April 14.

10 CELEBRITY chef Stephanie Moon will be returning to the Spinnaker Tower to host another pop up restaurant series of Sky Dining.

Stephanie will deliver a new seven-course tasting menu showcasing the best of Hampshire and Isle of Wight produce.

It will provide an opportunity to indulge in a unique fine dining experience, served 100 metres above sea level.

The experience will take place between 7.30pm and 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
