TWO men have been jailed for their part in supplying Class A drugs worth £30,000 in Hampshire.

Omar Henry and Amin Mahoutti both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs after police discovered the duo from London had been selling drugs in Winchester.

The pair, who were both significant players in bringing drugs into the city, according to police, have now been jailed after appearing at Winchester Crown Court.

Henry, 22, of Powis Terrace, London, was sentenced to five years in prison, while Mahoutti, 20, of Bruckner Street, London, was jailed for two years and eight months.

A third man, Imanrin Gabbidon, 24, of Pettits Lane, Romford, Essex, avoided prison avoid prison after he admitted allow to allowing a property in Newcombe Road, Southampton to be used for Class A drug supply.

Gabbidon was sentence to 150 hours of community service, as well as an eight-month jail sentence, suspended for one year.

Sergeant Stephen Court, from Hampshire Constabulary's Northern CID, said: “This operation has disrupted the supply of controlled drugs into Winchester and seen significant players jailed.

“We will continue to tackle the supply of drugs by criminal groups and reduce the harm they cause within our communities.”

Inspector Jon Turton, from the Winchester Neighbourhood Policing Team, added: “The Neighbourhood Policing Team worked closely with Investigations to gather the evidence to successfully bring these offenders to justice.

“This case should serve as a reminder to anybody thinking about dealing drugs in Winchester or allowing dealers to operate from their premises.

“My team will continue to tackle drug dealing in the city as a priority and to protect some of the most vulnerable members of our community, who are often exploited.
