IT IS attended by thousands of people every year.
The Bishop’s Waltham Festival is back for another action-packed four days and this year is a special occasion for the event, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.
During the last two decades, it has seen choral productions, theatre performances, music competitions, an outdoor cinema, music festivals, story telling and more in locations throughout the town.
Two events have already taken place, but that doesn't mean the fun stops there.
On Saturday, at Bishop's Waltham Palace, four stages will showcase well known singers and tribute acts.
With something for everyone, the stages will focus on folk and blues, rock and pop, Aacoustic and even children’s music.
The annual event then raps up on Sunday with, not one, but two shows.
In the afternoon a pirate ship will take over the palace – with your help!
Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in building the ship for the special final performance of the event.
The day will be also include family-focused activities, including; Ssteel Ddrums sets, magic shows, children’s story telling, face painting, sand sculpting and much more.
And to close off the festival, the palace will be transformed into a cinema showing The Queen, starring Helen Mirren.
