A POWERCUT has left more than 100 people in the Alresford area without power.
Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) say that two overhead lines have come down, one in the Temple Valley area and the other in Alresford Road.
Earlier today the original powercut left more than 1000 people without power, but they say that the power has been largely restored, after they re-routed the network.
The powercut happened at 12noon today and 114 properties near Alresford Road are currently without power.
SSE told the Chronicle they expect the power to be back by 6pm.
A spokesman for SSE, said: "Our engineers are working to get the line up we would like to apologise to our customers that have been affected, we will do everything we can to get the power back on safely and as quickly as possible."
