MOTORISTS suffered long delays this morning following a multi vehicle accident on the M3 motorway.
The crashes - which police said were two separate incidents - involved seven cars and happened on the northbound carriageway.
It partially blocked the motorway junction 13 A335 at Chandlers Ford and junction 12 A335 at Eastleigh.
There were reports of another two separate crashes on the M27 eastbound and westbound just west of Whiteley.
The incident caused congestion on the M3 back on to the M27 at Whiteley.
The accident happened at about 6.30am and it is unknown if there were any injuries.
