A POLICE investigation into how an eight-year-old boy fell from a zip wire has been closed.
As reported in the Chronicle the boy fell from the zip wire in Dean Park Play Area in Winchester in March and suffered a serious head injury.
Winchester City Council launched an investigation into the safety of zip wires in the city and removed equipment from two other play areas.
Police who at the time appealed for information from witnesses, have now concluded their investigation.
A police spokeswoman said: “After an investigation no future action will be taken following our enquiries.
