ANOTHER weather warning is in place for Hampshire today, as strong winds and heavy rains hit the south.
The Met Office has imposed a yellow warning until 5pm this evening.
According to the weather forecasting agency, outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, will continue to affect parts of southern England this morning, before becoming confined to parts of southeast England and East Anglia by Wednesday afternoon.
Due to recent heavy rains, the additional water could cause localised flooding and perhaps even local disruption to transport. Strong winds will affect some southern coastal areas.
The chief forecaster said: "Complex frontal systems containing very moist, mild air, brought some heavy rain to southwest England and south Wales overnight.
"They will eventually clear eastwards on Wednesday but this will be a slow process across easternmost regions. As further west, 20-30 mm of rain could fall in 2 to 3 hours, and a few spots might see around 40 mm."
