1. Ringwood Carnival – Saturday

2. Southampton Boat Show – Saturday and Sunday

It’s the last few days of the Mayflower Park week-long event. Highlights include British superbike champion and world rider Alex Lowes meeting the public from 12pm as well as every boat imaginable from expensive yachts to little dinghies, trailer sailers and multihulls. 3. Eastleigh Mardi Gras - Saturday

The annual show returns from 10am-7pm, at the Leigh Road Recreational Ground. The street parade starts at 5pm from The Point theatre with a pirate and princess theme. 4. Otterbourne church celebrations – Saturday

The Parish of St Matthew's Church celebrates 175 years from 2.30pm with a family day, part organised by Otterbourne School. There will be lots of games and attractions. Main Road, Otterbourne, Hampshire, SO21 2EQ.

5. Southampton and District Motorcycle Club celebrates 70 years – Saturday

From 12-5pm the clubhouse celebrates its 70th birthday with an open day. There will be a re-launch ceremony at 3pm and a chance to see the club’s history first hand with motorcycling and charity stalls. 6. Michaelmas Fayre, St Barthomew’s Church – Saturday

Hyde Church in Winchester opens its doors from 11am-2pm to celebrate the Michaelmas Fayre. There will be a bbq, games, sweets, cakes, jams, ice-cream, live music, a raffle, lucky dip, treasure hunt and a special tale of King Alfred’s bones told by Hyde900.

7. Cheriton Vintage Ploughing Match – Sunday

Hampshire Chronicle:

From 11am there will be the traditional displays of farming skills with the annual vintage ploughing match, hosted by the Wessex Historic Tractor and Implement Club at Kilmerston Road. Admission for adults is £2 and children go free.

8. Hursley 10k – Sunday

A record number of runners are expected to take part for a number of charities across the village and through Ampfield Wood, starting off from John Keble Primary School at 10.30am.

9. Eastleigh Collectors Fair – Sunday

A toy, train and collectors fair will be held at Fleming Park Leisure Centre, from 10.30am-3pm, and there is free parking. Admission for adults is £2 and there will be light refreshments available.

10. D-day at Droxford - Sunday

St Mary’s Church, at Droxford Square, hosts a talk by Lord Stoneham of Droxford, on Winston Churchill’s weekend and the final preparations for D-Day. Kicks off at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Tickets cost £5. Visit friendsofdroxfordchurch.org.uk.
