A SECLUDED garden in Old Alresford will open to the public to raise funds for a family charity in Winchester.

The Hyde, hidden behind Old Alresford village green, was designed for wildlife and boasts a wide range of flowers, vistas and vegetables.

All proceeds will go towards Home Start Winchester & District, a charity providing counselling and financial advice to parents with young children.

The garden will open from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, September 14. Admission costs £4 with under-16s going free.
