A WINCHESTER recruitment firm has announced a record year of growth.

Workmates & Daniel Owen Ltd, located in Winnall, announced a 77 per cent increase in profits for the financial year ending in June as well as a 33 per cent gross margin increase.

The privately owned company, which employs in excess of 100 staff across its offices in London, Bristol, Reading, Birmingham and Oxford, has confirmed there have been several promotions within the senior management team.

Kevin Parsons and Steve Woodward have both been appointed as divisional managing directors while Jon Underwood, Kevin Tull and Karl Burnett have been promoted to associate director.

Philip Andrews, chief executive officer of Workmates & Daniel Owen Ltd, said: “Our year-end figures not only confirm the strength of our company, but also the growing strength of the market generally, after a difficult couple of years.

“We have built a strong, capable team that will enable the company to grow in accordance with our plans and the increasing market confidence in our specialist industries of construction and engineering.

“All those promoted have been with the company for a number of years and have, and continue to be, an integral part of the success of the company.”
