POLICE have launched an investigation following four burglaries in Winchester.

Two of the incidents occurred at homes on Godwin Close and Burnett Close, and the other two at Harestock Road, between 7am and 7.45pm on Monday (July 14).

Jewellery, cash, vouchers and a watch were just some of the items stolen.

PC Jasmin Connolly from Winchester police station said: “We are treating these burglaries as linked due to the time in which they occurred and the proximity of the homes to one another.

“I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any people or cars which they deemed to be suspicious. We would also urge anyone with private CCTV in the area to make contact with us.”
