MOTORISTS in Winchester should expect overnight disruption as road works are carried out.
The Highways Agency is resurfacing and refreshing lane markings on the A34 and A33 north and southbound between the M3 junction nine, Winnall Roundabout, and B3047 London Road, Kings Worthy.
To carry out the work there are full closures from 10pm until 5.30am on weekday nights.
Work started last Thursday (May 15) to southbound carriageways, between the A303 Bullington Cross and the Winnall Roundabout, and A33 link from the B3047 London Road to the A34.
It is expected to finish on Wednesday May 28 – though there are not closures on May 23 or 26.
Northbound work starts on May 29 until June 10 between the Winnall Roundabout and the A272 Three Maids Hill junction, and link from the A34 to the B3047 London Road.
