Man rescued after van turns over on A34

WINCHESTER fire fighters were called this morning after a van overturned on the A34.

One paramedic and one fire appliance attended the scene at 6.30am it was reported that a van had overturned near the Maids Hill junction after it went into the central reservation.

It is not yet known how the van came to hit the barrier.

The driver, a man in his thirties, received medical treatment on site but was not taken to hospital.
