Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a single vehicle road traffic collision early on the morning of Saturday, March 22, on the M27.
At around 5.50am a blue Mitsubishi was travelling eastbound from junction 1 (Cadnam) towards junction 2 (Ower) in the middle lane. The car veered to the nearside across lane 1 and the hard shoulder, and left the carriageway.
The car came to a rest on its roof down an embankment. The driver and two children were treated for a number of non-serious injuries including cuts and bruises and were taken to hospital.
An investigation is now underway to find out what happened.
Anyone who may have seen what happened is asked to contact PC Jon Dove at Totton Roads Policing Unit on 101 or via the website http://www.hampshire.police.uk/internet/do-it-online/online-forms/message-for-officer.html.
