ENTRIES are now closed for The Winchester Photographic Society’s 81st annual open exhibition.
Judging day was Sunday, March 23, with the exhibition then running in the City Space at Winchester’s Discovery Centre from Saturday, April 26 until Sunday, May 18.
It will showcase entries from the society’s 150 members in a range of categories including beginner’s prints, Hampshire landscapes, human portraits, natural history and free subject.
Membership secretary Graham Barber said the club is constantly growing:“Every year 30 or so new members join us, so we have quite a vibrant turnover,” he said.
“We are quite an old club, established in 1923, and one of the biggest in the south of England.
Members recently had the chance to hear from internationally acclaimed photographer Martin Parr, when he spoke at their spring lecture on March 18.
