A WINCHESTER entrepreneur is set to appear on Dragon’s Den this weekend (February 23).
Simon Weatherall, from Winnall, is due to appear on the popular BBC programme at 9pm on Sunday, and says he really enjoyed the experience.
He said: “I’m not your average person that would appear on the show. I left school with two GCSE’s, neither of them in Maths or English, and look what I have achieved.
“It’s just interesting because not many people can say they have done it.”
Mr Weatherall grew up on Winnall council estate, and served in the Royal Marines for five years before setting up his business, but will he slay the dragons? The BBC and Mr Weatherall won't say.
