A STORE that was once home to a wedding dress business is now available to rent in Winchester.

Formerly Ivory Boutique, the Chesil Street shop has been advertised to let by property agents Goadsby.

Allan Pickering, commercial surveyor, said: “We are delighted to bring to market this exceptionally well appointed unit. Winchester is a very popular location and this property presents a unique opportunity for the ingoing tenant to create unique premises with a very good road frontage.

“The unit extends to 1,047sq ft and benefits from three parking spaces, available on a new lease direct from the landlord.’’

I thought I was reading The Hampshire Chronicle web site, not Rightmove. It seems HC are now doing a Daily Mail and making news articles out of places for sale and rent. Must be a slow news day.

I thought it was twice home to a wedding dress business. Maybe the new tenant might do something other than wedding dresses. And, what is happening to the WCC offices next door, I would be more interested to learn about that.

Keep up! Perhaps you should start reading the newspaper! It' had a story recently that Avalon House is going to be taken over by Southern Health NHS Trust
