A HAMPSHIRE social media site has helped prove its worth when a lost Labrador was located.
On Wednesday (January 8) help was requested on the Hursley Yammer website after a black Labrador bolted when a fence came down and wandered in the park in Hursley, near Winchester.
Resident Ian Wells noticed the dog, concerned it was not accompanied by its owner, and took the dog home quickly alerting other group members with a quick text message about the situation.
Fortunately the dog’s owner was with a group member at the time the text was received and claimed back the dog, recognising it because of its blue collar.
