INQUESTS have been opened into the death of two men in road traffic incidents in Hampshire.

Central Hampshire coroner Grahame Short heard that Antony Welling, 60, from Hertfordshire, died in a crash on the M3 near Eastleigh on January 3.

Timothy Barfoot, 41, of Shakespeare Road, Eastleigh died when his Suzuki motorbike was in collision with a BMW on the B2177 near Waltham Chase on January 2.

Mr Short heard that both men died of severe abdominal injuries.

Both inquests were adjourned.
