ARTWORK by an Eastleigh digital artist will take centre stage at The Point gallery space this spring.
Working in collaboration with Ian Kirkpatrick, Julien Masson presents a fusion of graphic design with contemporary art.
The giant works draw on science fiction, films, video games, classical artwork and scientific illustrations.
Mr Masson said: “Our collaborative artworks are modular, made from individual graphic components that we assemble and re-assemble to create evolving structures.
“Our process begins with the creation of an initial piece, sometimes itself a compilation of found imagery, which is then transformed over the course of multiple subsequent artworks.
“We are inspired by the evolving and fragmentary nature of cultural knowledge.”
The exhibition is on at The Point from January until April.
