ALRESFORD Rotary Club has been celebrating after a sell-out Christmas tree sale for the tenth year in a row.
On Saturday (December 14) residents from right across the town lined up to collect their trees before they’d even been unloaded from their lorries.
Children and their parents from Cherry Tree Pre-School gathered in front of the Spirit of the Andes shop on Broad Street to entertain the shoppers as they bought their Norway spruce and Noordman ‘non-drop’ trees.
The annual event saw few trees left by 11am from the 300 that had been brought in to help raise funds for the community.
This year's organiser, John Clarke, said: “We are very grateful to the people of Alresford who are always very supportive of Rotary fund-raising events.”
