A TEENAGER who died at a Winchester music festival has been named.
Eleanor Rowe, 18, of Glastonbury, Somerset, was taken ill at the Boomtown Fair at the Matterley Estate last Thursday evening (Aug 8).
Despite medical attention on the site she was pronounced dead on arrival at the city's Royal Hampshire County Hospital.
An inquest was opened today (Aug 14) by Assistant Deputy Coroner for Central Hampshire Sarah Whitby, although no suspected cause of death was listed.
A post mortem took place on Monday but was inconclusive and toxicology tests are still being completed.
Police said the death was not suspicious but were investigating drugs as a line of inquiry.
The full inquest will be resumed later this year.
