Kinetika gyms at River Park and Fleming Park lesiure centres have signed up to a 1m mile Comic Relief challenge
HUNDREDS of Winchester and Eastleigh gym members are taking part in a nationwide challenge for Comic Relief.
Kinetika gym members from River Park Leisure Centre and Fleming Park Leisure Centre are trying to clock up more than one million miles by running, cycling, rowing or walking on the gyms’ fitness machines.
It is part of a six-week challenge which will be completed by more than 10,000 people across 68 gyms in the UK.
Winchester kinetika gym manager Sarah Morgan said: “Both our staff and our growing community of members are really excited about taking on this challenge and raising as much money as we can, using JustTextGiving, for a very deserving local cause.”
