Girls invited to taster session for Winchester cathedral choir
ASPIRING young female singers will have the chance to experience what life would be like as a Winchester Cathedral chorister.
Girls in school years 6 and 7 are invited to attend an open afternoon on Saturday February 9 from 2.45-6.30pm and enjoy a tour of the cathedral, learn about singing and ask questions about being a chorister.
There will also be an opportunity to sing along with the current choristers at Choral Evensong and have group singing lessons.
The taster session is an annual event and encourages any ambitious singers aged 11 to audition in March.
